Soulja Boy Sued for Los Angeles Auto Accident
A party involved in a Los Angeles auto accidentwith Soulja Boy is now suing him for defamation, damages and other charges. They claim that the accident that happened on June 23 was the fault of the 22-year-old musician and bad boy.
Bobbiye Sullinger, the driver, and Herman Flowers say that when their Chevy crashed with Soulja Boy’s Bentley, the artist initially allegedly denied all fault and went a step further by posting a publically defamatory video on YouTube.
Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way was specifically being sued for physical, financial and emotional damages. Fortunate for him, he is not the only Hollywood star that has been in an auto accident. Over the past year a series of auto accidents consecutively involving either Lindsey Lohan or Amanda Bynes have who have been fighting to explicatively be under the spot light. On Twitter Lohan acknowledged their new notoriety being in accidents and trouble with the law.
According to the pair, on the video that Soulja Boy posted accuses them of being racists and a being thieves in front of the entire web, so they followed a joint suit. It accuses Bobbiye of allegedly trying to steal the Bentley. He also alleged that he was not behind the wheel of his Bentley at the time of the accident. It wasn’t until further investigation that he accepted the fact that he was driving but denied the fact that he was at fault for the accident.
Accusations on the video against Bobbiye have according to her negatively impacted her career and personal life on a daily basis. It makes living each day an extra difficult burden. It seems that wherever she goes there is someone that points and laughs in reference to the YouTube video.
There are no public documents that give further information into the situation, nor the progress of the suit. The pair is seeking to unspecified damages, and a judge has yet to rule on the case.
Daily Mail online has reported that Cortez has been in trouble with the law over the past few years and has a history of being a “bad boy”.
Back in 2009 he was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, on one count of obstruction, a misdemeanor, for running from police when he’d been ordered to stop while filming a video in an abandoned house, and was later given 12 months’ probation and a $1,000 fine – which was not hard for him to pay considering he is worth at least $5 million.
