Diddy Back on the Party Scene After Los Angeles Celebrity Car Crash
Touting a superstar Prince costume over the weekend at a Playboy Mansion party, hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared unscathed after being involved in a Los Angeles car accident outside of a Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday.
Combs made a grand entrance as the American singer, songwriter and sometimes actor Prince into the spooky Playboy Mansion bash hosted by Hugh Hefner on Saturday. He strolled in on two feet wearing a black puffy curly haired wig, black eye liner, the iconic purple cape and pants with the fancy long sleeved white shirt while strapping a white electric guitar. He did not let an accident (which was more than a fender bender) stop him from enjoying a fun night out in costume with his posy an alleged girlfriend who was dressed as Cleopatra.
TMZ posted photos post-crash that show the hip-hop star looking shaken up and lying on one elbow on the grass to compose him of the shock. The SUV he was traveling in appeared to have major frontal damage.
According to law enforcement sources of the celebrity reporting site, a car turned left in front of Diddy’s SUV which then allegedly caused Diddy’s driver to t-bone another vehicle. In another story Beverly Hills police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino allegedly told EW that Combs was riding in a Cadillac Escalade on Sunset Boulevard when a Lexus sedan turned left in front of it, and the vehicles collided.
When authorities arrived to the scene, most of the people involved in the wreck complained of pain, including Diddy, his driver, and the other driver involved. Hoshino says Combs complained of pain, but said he would seek his own medical attention.
Diddy’s rep has released a statement describing the injuries the rap mogul suffered per EW.
“Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday’s car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident.”
However, it remains unclear as to how serious any of the other victim’s injuries were. They all denied being transported to the hospital despite the presence of an ambulance.
A report was taken and there were no citations issued on the scene.
